So find myself not too far from euro bike and it would only be a couple of hours out of the way on Saturday when it's open to the public, I'm vaguely interested in a carbon racy hard tail which kind of makes me want to check out the new canyon exceed I'm seeing shots of.

Is it worth heading over to as a punter? My work life has revolved around foreign and domestic trade shows for the past 10 years so it kind of feels like it would be cool to have a mooch and spend a day at one I actually have an interest in!

Seems to be a bit of a party Friday night too, but if it's anything like the trade shows I know the open to the public day will be a bit crap as most of the exhibitors will just leave a couple of juniors and a few bits on the stand and bugger off to avoid the breakdown carnage. Anyone been as a punter?

Enjoyed it as a public ticket holder last year, going again this year. Thought some people on the stands were a little jaded, but there was a lot of enthusiasm about, people keen to chat, no end of show packing stuff up during the day... Lots to see and touch.

Book online, save cash and get there early.

its the 4th day of a trade show, they'll have been burning it at both ends, on their feet and talking all day long.

I do 3-4 trade shows a year in another industry, ours are normally three days long and by the end of day three you just want to sit down in a nice quiet room, not talk to anyone, not shake anymore hands and certainly not smile again for about a week.

and knowing how much stand building can cost, some of these guys have got pretty serious marketing budget.
