I always find it interesting to look at the body language of a scorer. When Giroud scored he pushed past his teammates rather than celebrate with them. Tells me all is not right in the team!

Well, I was a bit worried that Les Cheats might actually win this thing, being the home side, but unless they sort themselves out defensively, they won't be troubling the likes of Spain or Germany.

Well, not a great game to start, but the second half picked up, and I think we can say that winning goal was worthy of declaring the tournament open! 🙂
