Not looking for a solution, more of a PSA to stop anyone making the same mistake.
Bought a pair of Etnies MTB shoes, turned up and I didn't like them... No problem, I'll just return them.
Oh, I have to pay to return them? No problem, seems perfectly reasonable.
Oh, I have to return them to the Netherlands at a cost of £14! FFS!
Wish I'd read the small print.
I had this last year, picked up two pairs of shoes, they arrived and where horrible, nothing like the picture and was told a return is to the netherlands. Made a lot of noise and they managed to find somewhere in Manchester for me to send them too.
Wont order from them again.
In their defence, it is spelt out very clearly on their website that you'll have to return them to NL at your own expense. Not great with shoes when it's more likely IME you'll have to return them unless you already know for a fact that exact model/size will fit you. I normally buy from somewhere like Wiggle that has free returns & order a few different sizes on the basis I'll definitely be sending most of them back!!
I know, I'm annoyed at myself!
IF you pay with paypal - you can do a certain number of free returns via paypal and print off a shipping label. If I buy anything heavy with a 'you pay' exchange I use paypal for this reason.
Wasn't looking for a solution but got one anyway... Thank you Kittyr, that works for me!
