Why was the guy pulling a bear in his fishing net?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-10798508
Doesnt say the guy was trying to help the bear, looks like he was purposely dragging it along in the net, and why was the net attached to his truck FFS?
Does it? To me it just looks like an accident is he moves his car forward in an attempt to release tension on the net. If he wanted to kill a bear I'm sure he could with a gun or trap.
would you have got out the car to help the bear?
Did you listen to the sound? Sounds like the bear got trapped and went into the bushes. Think the dude used the truck to get to the net and cub. Then the mother came out and was able to free the cub. Dont think it was anything sinister.
yeah but why was the net attached to the truck in the first place?
Yeah I'd def go down into the ditch with a knife to cut the net off the cub. No way would I get mauled to death by the mum.
yeah but why was the net attached to the truck in the first place?
Accident, how did that HGV driver a few months back drive along with a car attached to its cabin.
Actually I assumed he'd attached it to his truck when he discovered the cub stuck in the net, rather than go down there and grab it by hand.
yeah but why was the net attached to the truck in the first place?
It's just the American's failed attempts to keep up with Russians flying donkeys behind speedboats.
The mother desperately struggled to save her cub as fisherman Dane Havard pulled the small bear out of tall reeds behind his house with his truck.
possibly the bear was stuck in the reeds so guy grabs the bear with net, assuming said bear and mother won't realise he's actually doing good so does it from the safety of his truck?
I really would like to meet the people that sub the BBC news online content. They are true masters of ambiguity.
so you go to pull your fishing net out of the bushes where you dumped it last summer. you pull and pull but it wont come out. Exasperated you tie it to the front of your truck, stick it in reverse and, whats that? A bearcub! Awe isn't it sweet, and oh s!!t there's its mum too. Best stay in the cab and see how this one pans out!
