Does the video really need to auto play? Not nice for bandwidth on a mobile device.
Where? 😉
whats over there?
There on the stair
Didn't we do this a couple of months ago when someone got a nice data bill from the mobile company?
I don't see anything...... However I do enjoy a bit of Epic TV
didn't they change it so you get 30 seconds the first time you visit and then have to click soemthing to make it go subsequently?
It's supposed to pick up if you're on a mobile device.
It doesn't do that with a blackberry though :/
For an annoying couple of days my blue P disappeared and I noticed it was there, but didn't seem to be autoplaying as per last time.
bin dun a week ago too.
It ought to pick up if you surf on a phone/tablet, but probably doesn't if you tether laptop via phone.
details in that thread a week ago of what to do.

Ah, that'll be it.
The HD video is not streaming. What you are seeing is a 10 second video ad that is of no more bandwidth consequence than any other video ad that appears on the site.

If I hover over the scrubber bar of the player it's indicating it's playing 3 mins 50 seconds of 2MB quality HD video. This was automatically started when I came into this thread.
Re-opening the browser to test again... It plays the 10 second ad, with a little count-down of "Lift-off in 10... 9.. 8.." etc. Then it starts playing the video proper.
Yup. Just watched most of a Red bull sponsored rider doing a run at Cairns WC.
Just done a little bit of testing… first visit to the page it auto plays the full HD vid (despite being postage stamp sized), but on subsequent visits it shows a poster frame prompting a click to play. I only noticed what was happening due to the noise of the fan on my little laptop maxing out, as the ad is off the side of the little window I browse in on that machine.
