[Closed] Epic TV ads slow & crash my browser.

at work on IE8 but that stupid epic TV rubbish at the side causes my browser to slow down, takes ages to load the page before I can scroll or click and sometimes it just crashes, so I have to end task it.

Not so bad with Safari, but when I found the option to make them go away, I was much relieved 😉

Also,

It's Flash-powered I believe. Worth making sure your plug-in is up to date.

IE: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

(In any case, getting rid of old versions of Flash is a Really Good Idea.)

The same here, I lose the mouse pointer, then have to restart the browser, Linux with Midori browser.

I've given up at work now. Its just not worth everything hanging , crashing etc. So, it gets looked at less, less adverts being looked at , so quite defeating to the money makers.

Or stump up a mere £14.99 per year (that's 4p per day) to solve the problem. You must think there is [i]some[/i] value in the forum or you wouldn't bother reading it.
