Can anyone recommend an English to French translation service?
I did find one a few years ago, but she seems to have disappeared and I have no recollection how I found her
I can't rely on an online translation tool
Preferably a native speaker
thanks
Non.
Google translate ain't too bad IMO
Peut-on recommander un Anglais service de traduction en français ?
Je l'ai fait en trouver un il ya quelques années , mais elle semble avoir disparu et je ne me souviens pas comment je l'ai trouvée
Je ne peux pas compter sur un outil de traduction en ligne
De préférence, un locuteur natif
Merci
Presumably you can google a translation service? Or try your local university?
😆 😆 😆Google translate ain't too bad IMO
It's usually just about readable. That's about all you can say for it.

Voulez-vous revenir chez moi? Gonflable. Gonflable.
Y aura quelqu'un qui pourrait me conseiller un service de traduction Anglais/Français (version) ?
Compare with the Google translate version and you'll see why Jools needs a professional. The above is familiar as this is a forum, it still carries the meaning of the original which Google loses.

And now my keyboard is full of coffee.
I initially read it a "andouilles" perhaps because it was posted by Flash.

Institute of Linguists hold a list of accredited Translators, though I suppose I should be recommending my old man who is IOL accredited. http://www.aramistranslation.co.uk/

Y aura t-il quelqu'un qui pourrait me conseiller unE service de traduction Anglais/Français (version) ?
Not that bad the google translate seems to hammer the second phrase badly but handle the next one suprisingly good. But then I am neither a native French or English speaker.
It's un service and I did say that was the familiar form which drops t-il.
Is it a one off request ? My wife is French and we'd be happy to help a fellow STWer. If it's repeat request / business we know a professional translator (Paris based). Email in profile.
Online translation are by their very nature automatic and lack context.
