Sounds like the sort of thing they'd play in a spaghetti western, whilst they're burying the love interest as the hero looks on in a manly fashion before going on a revenge killing spree.
I may be over-thinking this.
I thought it sounded like something out of a 60's western when I heard it!
Of course Id have been more surprised if it was actually good.
Still it could be intentionally rubbish, doesn’t the winning nation have to host the comp the following year, who'd actually want to pay for that misfortune!
