Anyone else thinking we re going to same way as Greece now
no, Greece was screwed because they couldn't devalue the currency (amongst other things)
Oooooh - will we get nice beaches and sunshine! Result! 😀
Nah that's bollocks, we won't go that way.
What will happen is that everything is going to get more expensive, jobs will be lost and the ill educated who voted for this will get more screwed.
Turkeys do vote for Christmas
Pity, I love Souvlaki.
Suprise euro football winners? Get the **** in!!
That's odd. I though Greece was in the EU.
The same Greece that is in the EU, had to pass the criteria to join the Euro. Only they never really had so when the crash came the EU decided to inflict savage austerity measures that have crippled the country for generations to come when they could have taken steps to ensure they had their house in order first rather than pushing the Euro project. But it is OK as the Germans will bail the Euro out but for how much longer when they will be asked to do more now that we have left.
Now as well as the austerity measures in Greece they have a huge immigration problem landing in their shores as they try to make their way through to central Europe. Turkey who are helping to create the immigration problem though are getting billions of Euro's in bribes instead.
We do have 2nd highest debt to GDP ratio in the world
