Feel sorry for Luke Shaw, hope it’s just minor concussion.

Life’s too short to watch Engerland friendlies.

I take it this means that our best player, who’s been pretty much the only bright spark in a pretty disasterous start to the season is now out injured again?

Typical! The curse of the pointless friendly. I can’t believe they still interrupt the Premiership season, just as it’s getting going, for this meaningless opportunity to crock your best players.

Maureen should have done what Fergie used to do and invent phantom injuries that miraculously cleared up by next weekend

i hope he’s ok. He’s been through hell with his leg injury. They nearly had to amputate it apparently.

It’s not a friendly though.

It is the UEFA Nations league tournament that can lead to entry or playoffs for the Euro’s.

It’s a meaningless friendly they’ve tried to dress up as something other than a meaningless friendly because everyone hates meaningless friendlies for the reasons described above.

I did think that Harry Kane being given the golden boot prior to the match would be the customary kiss of death that would lead to him picking up an injury that would finish his season.

Looks like Shaw copped it instead. Brilliant!

I think this new “league” is probably a tv money making scam getting us all ready for the revolution and the sky world league.  As it stands ,it will put pressure on the managers to play the top players throughout the year. The club managers won’t be happy come the end of the season.

I only listened to a bit of it on 5 . The Ian Dennis/producer spat just before kickoff was radio gold.

It's still a friendly, but just a smidgen less friendly.

If we're relying on this new "league" to qualify for the Euros we've got big problems!

I would have watched it had it been on free TV but seems Sky have these games.
