With Yorkshire energy gone and Scottish Power having taken over (thanks a bunch Ofgem), I'm looking to switch and Igloo are coming up best for me.

Looks like they've got a £50 referral scheme so whilst it's against STW forum rules to post referral links, is it ok for any STW Igloo customers who could do with the kick back to message me?

We have just gone through with an energy switch. It's not what you asked so might not be relevant to you, but I'll share anyway...

Whilst I can't recall seeing Igloo on any of the comparisons when searching, we chose Octopus as it was only marginally more expensive than the cheapest supplier (Green Energy Network) but also had brilliant reviews. After an issue with the switch thanks to British Gas (who were near useless), Octopus customer service was fantastic and solved it straight away for us.

Happy to share a £50 link if they are competitive for you too.

I've just sent you a referral, as requested. Thank you

As an alternative, I've actually just switched to Scottish Power as they were the cheapest on money supermarket. £100 refer a friend up for grabs if anyone wants to split it 😉

I didn't realise this until now, but you have to click on the rewards section and redeem it as credit on your account, otherwise, it just sits there doing nothing.

Thanks, yes I received an email from them a short while ago and it says
'Congratulations for signing up with your friend's referral link. We want to reward you for doing so. 30 days after your first Direct Debit, we will add £50 to your Reward Account. You'll be able to access this online and in the app, where you can then redeem your reward.'

I'll try not to forget!
