I am in work at 3 where I have to drive from Liverpool to Bristol to Cardiff to Swansea and then back, I cannot sleep, I slept from 3-6 this afternoon but it is going to be a bit of a struggle to say the least.

Are the small energy shot bottles that you can buy in garages any good? I basically need to be alert until I get to Swansea as I can have a kip after that.

Any advice is much appreciated!

I feel my answer to this question will come when I have already careered through the barriers and off the motorway...

Don't bother. Feel tired, take a break and grap 10-20 minutes sleep. Anything else is just kidding yourself.

a vet friend who often had to do long nocturnal operations on animals told me Red Bull would often keep him awake...

Red Devil is far better than Red Bull for keeping you awake.Take a Anadin Extra or two with it & you'll feel fresh enough to take on the world...

once drove non-stop without sleep including the ferry, to Les-Arc, fuelled by nothing more than a full case of Redbulls, a large tub of Haribo tangfastics, and a large Costco assortment of Danish pastries.
Probably didnt do my innards any good but got there okay-ish.

Barriers still intact, and the shot did the job funnily enough. Thanks for the replies 😀
