I was mowing the lawn today and it occured to me that (IMHO) the Honda Izy is the king of petrol lawnmowers. Nothing better for the price. Mrs T reckons that the Panasonic breadmaker is the bees knees when it comes to breadmakers.
What are your suggestions for things that are so good, no other competitor matches them? So darned good at what they do, why consider anything else. Best in class. End of thread suggestions.

If you want one to bake one or perhaps 2 loaves then put it on a shelf and forget about it, Kenwood would be a better choice

I actually preferred the Kenwood. The bread was the same, but it took 3/4 of an hour or so less, so I could make a loaf on getting back from work, let it cool then make sandwiches with it without staying up waiting for it. Alas our Kenwood tin fell apart after loads of use; the Panasonic replacement is in the cupboard because it's too much of a faff to use.

Handmade bread is far nicer than anything produced by a machine, and not much more effort.

I ummed and ahhed, but the M2 works better with 35mm lenses (and arguably looks better).

As much as I enjoy the unveiling of Bully's Special Prize, it's no match for Mr Chips having a **** on Catchphrase. Or the Going For Gold mug tree- if you watch something like Pointless today, you know fine well they grew up on Going For Gold.

Just been doing the ironing and this thread popped to mind..

..a pair of Armani (wait, it gets better) chinos (told you) that I've had for 8 years now, are still looking as good as new. Not the slightest sign of colour fade or degradation to the material. Fag packet calculations are that they've been washed over 100 times.
