Quick one,
Is an employee on a temporary contract who has been employed for less than a year entitled to be given an 'at risk of redundancy' notice and be redeployed into another post?
Any thoughts?
Less than 2 years and you have very few rights.
Thanks thats what i thought.
I'd have thought the temp contract is the main problem. You'll not be being made redundant, your contract will come to an end.
Its just that i have been give a notice alongside the permanent staff and wonder if its right or not!Contract is only for 18 months

Thanks 🙂
If you're a contract worker and they're putting you on notice with a payout, then TBH you're bucking the trend and you might as well take the payout rather than reminding them that they can ditch you next week for no cost.
As above, I'd bite their hand off.
Less than 12 months they can say goodbye at anytime pretty much.
2 years now Drac, thanks to CMD
