Just got a random spam sales email from Dropbox, so googled the sender to see if it was real or not and it looks like the whole workforce is on their website:
Quite unusual, normally it's just the Board or senior management team who get named and shamed on the website.
There's a chef on there but no cleaning staff...
Is 'Just Pervorse' his real name???
Seems quite popular with a lot of startups these days. Not sure how well it works when the company gets to the size of Dropbox, though.
Mind you, I'm on the front page of the (fairly large) pharmaceutical company I used to work for's website...

You are Dolly the Cloned Sheep and I claim my £5!
Bloody nora, how many people does it take to run an on-line hosting company! And what the chuff does the 'Product' team do?!?
Cheers,
Jamie

Anyone remember the thread (pre-hack) taking the pee's out of some guy's employee photo (maybe with a weird name?) and he tracked the traffic back to STW.. and joined up.. all gets a bit vague...
only me...?
Weirdly, at a previous company we A-B tested whether or not putting our faces on the homepage made a difference to people checking out. We found that those who had the opportunity to gaze lovingly upon a photo of us standing around in a carpark were about 5% more likely to checkout than those that were denied our glorious visages.
People are weird.
You missed the panda then?

Just looked like a normal anaemic, middle aged, overweight IT professional. But on closer inspection you could be right.....
It looks like a dating site for IT professionals.
We have most of our staff on our website. People could opt out but the vast majority didn't. Leads to some occasional odd conversations for support "How do I know you work there? You're not on the website" (usually answered by "You called us during work hours, of course I work here").
