A lot of the female peloton have PHDs and are very bright. Sadly the same can't be said for most male pro cyclists.

I thought Pooley and James were a bit out their depth on that team.
Edit - Philip Hensher has been the standout clever clogs of this series.

James was - the captain didn't help as he defaulted to Starkey the whole time. Pooley was good in the semis too.
