Ok, since I took delivery of my new router from Virgin whenever I click on an email address within the body of an email instead of defaulting to my work email it now tries to open a personal virgin email address I have rather than automatically open my work Gmail account.

This occurs when I have been sent an address for a customer from a colleague or via the online enquiry pages we have set up on the work website.

I've not changed any settings in my Gmail preferences or the virgin address I have.

It's bloody frustrating.

The above description probably makes little sense I realise

I'm on a macbook using Gmail via chrome browser

Sadly not, If I click on any email address it's dropping me at another google search page now. Not opening any email client at all. I wonder if its something in the chrome settings I need to alter?
Specifically I have Pipedrive as my CRM software and all stored email addresses within that I can no longer click on to send an email via my work gmail address which I've been able to do for 4 years without issue.

Just to check- you're not using a dedicated email client, you're using Chrome- is that right?
