I've always got on with Mythic Beasts for hosting - they're a small UK company with a techie focus. They have a basic email hosting tier available. As a bonus, I'm pretty sure one of their directors is a member of this forum, too.

Yournamehere have various tiers of service including email. I’ve found their minimum registration and hosting package fine for some time.

We've ended up with them having for self employed co web hosting having been migrated from something to Tsohost to 123.  has been painful.

If you're an Apple user then the lowest tier of iCloud+ lets you use a custom email domain  (and 50gb of storage) for 99p a month.

Years ago I got my website and email (s*********.co.uk) through Yola.  From a convenience point of view it's excellent, It operates just like a Gmail address and it synchs through Gmail on all my devices.

However, I have to pay £35 for Yola hosting every year, I have to pay £20 for my domain name every couple of years and I have to pay £6 a month for Google Gsuite which adds complication and seems to give me less storage that a straight Gmail address (latter point may be wrong, I don't really know how to check).

I've stopped using my website and for cost saving I'd love to move to another provider as long as I keep my address and don't lose any stuff.  I've got Office 365 but I think most of my photos are in Google Photos, which I quite like.

I use nethosted and am thinking of moving.  They are fine but they don't offer free ssl certificates for their Web hosting and suddenly decided that my use of Nextcloud, which had been available from them, was not within my package, which is a bit of a pain.

If you want UK based:

https://www.mythic-beasts.com/

If you just want a company that does email and nothing else:

https://www.migadu.com/

I use both and they're both great.
