You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I found these in a remote hut near to the Laggan Wolftrax trail centre. The hut looks like it was made to house the now redundant electronics. Picture something like one of the guards huts at Buckingham palace with a small door at the front.
Anyone care to identify what they are & what the likely function was ?
Tahnks in advance, Dave.

Signal amplifiers?
Transposers. I guess there was some sort of transmitter there.
Signal relay station?
Think they could be amplifiers and repeaters for extending radio signals (CB).
EDIT: too slow!

Was this on the opposite side of the A86 from Wolftrax? If so it could be related to the hydro scheme linking Spey Dam to Loch Laggan.

Aye, up just behind the Pictish Fort. Was having an evening walk with Mrs Davesport after an afternoon at Laggan when we came across the hut.

They're Transposers. So yes, signal boosters.
