looking for you thoughts/advice on electronic keyboards.

My 13yr old fancies one for his birthday. He does play the ukulele (just starting the guitar too) and harmonica (all self taught) but never a piano/keyboard. He has said he would like to learn the keyboard next as an instrument but also thinks it would be good for sound effects/background music etc for the stop motion films he does as a hobby. If we get one I don’t think it would be a flash in the pan as he tends to follow through on things he puts his mind to. A great selling point for me is he can use headphones while learning 😁

Is there anything we should look for/avoid, brands to go for. I am hoping to get one for around £100-£150?? and have seen yamaha\casio ones for this sort of price but really know nothing about them.  https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yamaha-Portable-Full-Size-Touch-Sensitive-Connectivity/dp/B0081G2SBO/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2GM9TV1KYAAXT&dchild=1&keywords=electronic+keyboards&qid=1601217868&refinements=p_76%3A419158031%2Cp_72%3A405434031%2Cp_36%3A9500-20000&rnid=405443031&rps=1&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=Electronic+key%2Caps%2C234&sr=1-1

Also do you need the stand/stool or would his desk and chair he has in his room be ok?

Thanks in advance. (I am of to start my tinternet research on them now, but STW usually come up trumps for advice)
