My dentist told me to avoid all those sugary energy drinks if I wanted to keep my teeth.
High five zero are sugar free. But I have no idea what pH they are.

Any of the electrolyte tablet drinks. Nuun are lovely but I’ve never forgiven them for discontinuing the Green Tea ones.
Take your sugar via gels which you can wash down without residue in the mouth.
Would have thought that the sugar is massively worse than the PH level of the drink, unless your favoured electrolyte is battery acid or something. Swish some water around afterward.
Milk was the best recovery drink in a TV experiment with a rugby team a few years back. I seem to remember swallowing a semi was best.

I don't sweat much...only when the days are over 20 thats when I put half a electrolyte tab in my water bottle
All the other days I just have plain water....I can last up to 50miles on it
Some of the electrolyte tabs use artificial sweeteners which can also have a laxative effect, I find they don't play nicely with my guts - generally, a lot of 'sports nutrition' seems to be packed with additives. Skratch Labs stuff is all natural, not particularly sweet, but expensive and hard to source in the UK. There are a few other all-natural electrolyte drinks, erm, SOS Hydration I think.
"elete electroytes" might be the sort of thing you are after.

Yes, I do, and I sweat even more in the garage on Zwift. I have had irregular heartbeats during exercise getting slowly worse in recent years and I blamed my caffeine intake. Then I read about the effect of electrolytes on irregular heart beats; I downed a couple of bidons with a gramme or two of electrolyte and it's gone away. So it's not always just for hot weather, it can be quite important depending on who you are.

Sugar is bad for your teeth if it sticks around, cos it feeds the bacteria on your teeth which produce acid. However sugary drinks don't really stick around unlike say crisps which do (ok so not sugar but simple starch).
Most fizzy drinks are bad for your teeth because they are acidic, and sugar free drinks are more acidic than sugary ones.

Must admit the worst cycling mistake I tend to make is buying the Diet Coke when really I need the Full fat version.
Good stuff Coke - hydration,energy and a caffeine boost and you can also clean you chain with it 🙂

there are electrolytes in cucumber. i’m not sure if they are the ones you need when doing sport.
Has to be no sugar to be kind to teeth, low sugar is as bad as full sugar for teeth.
It’s the number of different times you feed the bugs in your mouth sugar that matters not the amount of sugar in each feed or really how long it hangs around.
Good advice all. Was going to get coconut water but seems expensive. I only have it in the morning as part of breakfast routine before sport. I'll just stick with tablets from major brand, down the drink relatively quickly, follow with water (coffee actually) then after half an hour, clean teeth.
Sis hydro are zero sugar and taste ok.
