Our power/lights down to a shed in the garden has gone. Seemed to go off when I turned on the pond pump (at toip of garden). Nothing has tripped on the RCD in the house.
There is a simple fuse box (like a light switch that cuts off the power to shed) down in the shed. Is there a simple way I can find exactly where the fault is by using either a mulitmeter or voltage pen without killing myself?
You can check the fuse in the fuse box pretty easily. That'd be where I'd start.

i'd start by isolating the power to the shed first...
