Prompted by the strimmer question - Can anyone recommend one of those end of a long pole jobbies for getting stuff out of reach?

I've currently borrowed some Mac Allister ones from a mate at work and have to say I'm pretty impressed!

Can I resurrect this with similar question - any recommendations for cordless hedge trimmer normal length? I've been told Bosch with Li-on batteries worth a look - anything else?

I got a Mac one from B&Q, not expensive, cuts well, nice long blade and decent cutting edge, longish power cable too.

Seems to work better than the neighbours petrol one, but thats because its ancient and blunt as a blunt thing. Electric is a lot less noisy tho!

Got the bog standard Homebase own brand ones. Used them a couple of times and seem good enough. Better than chopping through cords (done once on borrowed ones no less)!

We've got the Bosch 41 Cordless.
It's very good.

Seems bombproof, battery lasts ok.
