Quite an achievement, but not as thrilling as the first time I saw the climb. The intro of Jean Louis Mourey's 'Climb Dance' is a film-making treat and the sound of Ari Vatanen's T16 still makes me grin. Ah, progress...

But still nearly a minute off the all time record.

hell of an achievement, especially considering it lost half their drive half way up.

I guess electric makes sense up there. Big torque and air starvation.

Looked like it was a heavy thing though.

It lost something when the resurfaced the road - to me at least rally driving always looks more exciting than road driving. That and the crash barriers now on the corners make it seem a bit less elemental (though I doubt they'd have held Ari if he'd lost it on one of the corners).

Look for the onboard of Loeb's run. Mind scrambling fast, but so neat and tidy with it.

Great stuff. Even a couple of years ago I wouldn't have expected electric to be doing that....

And drive dance rocks...

Yep I was wondering if it was a siren on the bend, which seamed a bit odd, or if it's a siren on the car so people can hear it coming?

Wasn't that Geraint I saw climbing back over the barrier?
