I will hopefully shortly be eating Pizza and drinking a Wiper and True Milk Shake stout but i'm currently listening to my 8 month old son having a screaming fit whilst trying to get him to sleep using some controlled crying and my mother in law doing a jigsaw puzzle with my daughter before her bedtime.

That Aldi Malbec Syrah is a tremendous bottle for the price. I love it!

Tonight though we’ve eaten gammon steak with butter bean mash and buttery kale. I’m watching ‘New Amsterdam’ on Prime which is really rather enjoyable and so far on the drinking front I’ve had a couple of Nebulas (Wild Beer Co), a can of Neck Oil (Beaverton) and then a can of Elvis Juice.

Depends on what temp your fridge is set at 🙂 - theoretically should be coldish (they say 6deg) but I prefer strongish beers a bit warmer so from the basement rather than properly warm.  Was drinking a 6% earlier as I wanted something 'light'.  Need to have a word with myself really

Hog roast at a retirement party at work.

Too much cheap red wine.

Some 80s shuffling in the background and the rain against the windows.

Its Fins 5th birthday tomorrow, not sure what it's in dog years, so it's a trip to the beach with fish and chips to share.
