That "forum update" thread's disappeared, so can I ask if anyone else sees this issue -

if you post something, then go back and edit it... when you post the edited version it appears on your screen without the edit. Sometimes takes a couple of refreshes of the browser to get the edited version to show.

Definitely wasn't like that before!

But yeah edit has been a bit broken for a while now

I had that just now on the MTB tyres thread. Something's changed, might be due to the database connection error that happened early this morning (I woke at 0500!)

The "last post" link also occasionally goes to the next to last page. I thought that had been fixed as well.

I suspect there's caching to help speed page load times and this is an artefact of that.

Does happen to me. I think the edit does happen but it just doesn't show without a refresh. Been happening for a week or two at least

It's been like that since the update I think - certainly for quite a while. Still, it's all going according to plan....

It's been doing it for a couple of days for me.  Takes a couple of seconds for the page to update.  As @wwaswas says, I suspect it's a caching issue.

Still, it’s all going according to plan….

Alternatively, they could have left it as it was, like MBR did.

At least STW have had a go at modernising the place.  Looks like the MBR forum is being euthanised in a few days.
