I currently need to remove the back ground from 2 pictures to leave just me in front of the white 'canvas'
I have photo-shop but cant do a very good job with it...

it's pretty easy to extract the background on photoshop - rather than get your mate to do it you might as well find a tutorial and do it yourself.
