The contracting roundabout has landed me a job near Meadowbank and due to the shonkyness of the train service between where I live and Edinburgh, I'm probably going to have to drive 🙁
So any recommendations for parking spots near Meadowbank? Paid / on street / share a drive, it matters not.
TIA

Where about/What street will you be working on? Plenty unrestricted on street parking near by near my work, if you don't mind a wee stroll to your work...

I'd have thought it'd be easy enough on street a short walk away. Or at the shopping centre.

Cool - its been a while since I spent much time down there - I'll need a recce to work out which home owners I'm about to piss off 😆

I work at the Fire Station at the roundabout at the foot of Smokey Brae(officially restalrig road south)

So Meadowbank House then? Loads of folk who work there seem to park on Marionville avenue/drive and it's a 2 min walk up Smokey Brae to their work. As long as you avoid driveways there's no parking restrictions...

Thanks MussEd. I was expecting it to be a nightmare, but it looks like there are plenty of options if I get in earlier enough. Just need to plan my bridge strategy now 😈

Park in Fife and get the train down?

I've looked at this via Inverkeithing, but I reckon it would add at least 30 minutes (may be wrong on this) door to door, once I've factored in parking up, dragging a bike out of the rack at waverley etc.

But it is an option

I'm iN the area too. If I can't get parked in my street I always get parked in Abbey Lane.
