How did you pay, paypal? If so and funds came from a bank account then try a chargeback.

Otherwise he has [s]walked[/s] crawled off unless you CBA raising a small claim.

You need to get your bank to sort the chargeback, I've not done it, but:

If you cant be helpful then please dont bother just spreading bad vibes for the sake of it.

Thanks cynic-al, I'll try that.

Yeah I contacted the seller, it was 'non delivery' and was sent back to him, apparently he sent it out again, and this time the post office apparently lost it, and now he's basically told me 'tough luck' and is generally being unpleasant.

You could try emailing the seller and; a) appealing to his better nature (although it sounds unlikely) or b) doing the whole small claims thing. I've refunded a buyer after two months after constant pestering and odd emails, but really just to get him off my back (three emails a day!). There was nothing wrong with the item but it is possible to grind someone down, if you C(an)BE.

But other than that, I reckon you're probably SOOL (definition of that.) after 45 days.

open a dispute with paypal, you should get your money back asap! Ask if he has a proof of postage? if not he's left himself open

Not after 45 days with paypal, you're money/stuff has gone, you could try small claims court?

Thanks folks for the feedback. Thankfully the seller has refunded me anyway out of the blue. Don't know why, perhaps they realised I wasn't going to give up on it, or maybe they were reading this.

Cheers
S
