Hi,
I bought a nice new seatpost on ebay over a week ago, the seller listed the postage as will deliver within three days....
Up until i won the auction his communication was great, sent a few questions and had responses within an hour or less.
Paid for said item the 25th of Feb and since have heard nothing. No post, not even been posted according to ebay.
Just being paranoid ? I sent him a message asking if it was on the way but three days later i've not heard back.
How's his feedback?, you have the right to be peeved.
90% of it is as a buyer but the 10% that is as a seller is 100% positive.
Too quick to be really concerned- only 5th working day. not ideal though.
doesnt sound like an issue yet to me - if he's listed it as three days to post & assuming he sent it on the 28th/29th it could just be stuck in the post - 1st class can take 3/4 days & 2nd class can take 5 days or more.
just mark him down (3/5?) on the 5 stars for communication & postage time when you leave feedback.
Is it 3 days postage including sorting? Normally in mine I will allow a few days to deal with it and then a few days to deal with it
Says delivered within 3 days.
Says delivered within 3 days.
This is a standard ebay quote. I list the postage in most of my sales as First Class Recorded post - always shows in the auction as 'standard delivery' and '2-3 days', despite selecting First Class Recorded in the postage options.
TBH I wouldn't be worried yet. I post stuff as soon as I receive cleared payment (well, provided the Post Office is open 😉 ) but I wouldn't imagine that other folks are as paranoid having someone's money and their goods, plus I'd imagine full-time work makes getting to the PO more difficult than for us part-timers.
First Class post generally arrives next day or within 2 days but has been known to take longer.
I'm pretty fussy about letting folks know once stuff is despatched and supplying tracking numbers, etc, but I guess other folks have a life outside of ebay 😆
