I got an email from a user on letting me know that an ebay seller has used my photos from a year or so ago to sell his item on E-bay.

It might be genuine and the seller is too damn lazy to take his own pics, or it could be a clone. I've messaged him asking him to upload his own pictures. But I'm now thinking it could be an outright scam.

Perhaps it's the person you sold it to and they've just used your original pic ?

(assuming you actually sold it)
