I'm pretty experienced with ebay, but I'm looking to buy bubblewrap ( Is ebay even the cheapest?
I want to find the cheapest seller in my chosen size 600mm x 100m. Now normally you'd just put in your search terms and then show results by cheapest price plus shipping. But as this is a very common item, a lot of sellers offer various sizes so this method doesn't really work as the top of the list could be a seller who sells a 10cm sheet for a penny then has high prices on all the other sizes. Does that make sense? Am I missing something?
No, you aren't missing anything, it's just really annoying.
I come across it a lot, if I need 20 somethings, it will rank someone who sells somethings for £1 each as cheaper than someone who sells 20 somethings for £15.
If you find a solution please post it on here!
Yep, it's really annoying.
I've found the best filter is to use the price range from +/- 20% of reasonable price, it reduces the hits to a more reasonable number.
Also, cheap bubble wrap is rubbish, you end up using 4 times as much as you would with decent stuff. I've stopped buying anything but Aircap because I got so pissed off with the crap.
This sort of thing is what ebay's absolutely worst for tbh.
Bubble wrap? Get with the times Daddio. Think of the planet!
We had fourteen metres of bubble wrap delivered to work the other day. I asked the boss what I should do with it and he told me to pop it in the corner.
I was there five hours.

I'm all ears. Any ideas on environment friendly packaging for protecting breakables in transit?

Very good.

Has the quote function now been permanently removed?
Setting a minimum price that cuts out the "single" option usually works well for me.

Paper or paper blankets
Avoid poundlands version of bubblewrap, it is shitely thin and you hardly get any on their rolls
