Sold something on ebay for £60 the other day and posted today first class signed for.
Just got a message from the buyer saying "The post office charges me £20 for customer charge, I expect you to pay it.", so i replied saying I don't know what he's on about.
Am I now going to have a Paypal dispute against me, losing the item and the money as well?
Ask for a photo of proof of item overweight/insufficient postage etc etc?
Fishy though- £20?!
I only sent it this morning, he can't have received it yet...
EDIT: Got another message through, I think he's received another parcel today which has customs charges on it.
I'll put my bombers away for now.
customs dues? sounds off.
Bomber him anyway.
You have the proof of posting and his email dated today?
I can't see Paypal having a problem working out what has happened.
EDIT: wee in his shoes anyway for contacting you without knowing which parcel was which.
I just had a panic because I've read other stories on here of sellers getting shafted (And I already spent the £60 on new shorts and liners).
I'll wait and see what happens.
