Recently listed an item on ebay. Had two of them for sale, so put 2x in title and put the quantity as 2 (buy-it-now/best offer auction)
So, the item sells pretty quickly (quantity 1) at full price. Payment made fine.
I then realise that due to my photo (showing both items) and title, the buyer has probably expected two!
Emailed buyer and explained purchase price is for one, should have made listing clearer and I can refund if desired.
Buyer is pretty pissed off with my refund- I made a mistake but could I have resolved it any fairer?
If hes got his money back, you've done everything necessary. I can see how he thought it was two though!
