ask for pics, although ultimately i think you'll not get anywhere. Ebay is a pain in the arse these days!

Yes clearly but there's nothing you can do about it really.

yeh - if near enough to you, tell them you're happy to come & look at it anyway or ask for pics of damage (just to make 'em squirm a bit though, I doubt they'll sell if they don't want to)

Probably, not much you can do about it really. Just move on and watch for it to be relisted.

watch for it to be relisted
and bid really high, win and then write to say your wallet's been damaged and you won't be able to pay unless they'll accept whatever you won it for this time

(or does this land you in the shit with ebay ?)

And to think some people think Chris king is expensive. 🙄
@OP, I guess that's life and not worth worrying about. You saw a bargain, seller realised it was a bargain and pulled it. It would be a non-issue if it was a shop or a different story if the boot was on the other foot.

... and, in honour of your title ('cos it wouldn't be right to just leave it be)

sure you can't get em to budgie even a bit ?
if you threaten to watch 'em like a hawk, maybe they'll chicken out
😉

its understandable why it happens when u could loose out a couple hundred quid on summit wen the end time is at a stupid time of day or night, its just the cheek of it..
i like the idea of watching to see if it comes back up and could create another account to bid high and buy it, then could quote back the message lol...
and yeah thats apparently how much they are new, i do listen honestly.. just kno this one was only 2hundred or summit

Good job you didn't buy it, looks like you'll need the money for a new keyboard...

Given how much saddle you get for £1800, that seems a bargain compared to this.

eBay is a joke these days, we've had excuses like this when we have won bargains and we've also had some really pathetic attempts to force a full or partial refund for goods that were exactly as described.
