Highest bidder (so far) on my Ti Duster frame registered in 2003 but has a 'zero' feedback score.

A member of eBay for eight years, and never bought or sold anything? Until now?

Is there something scammy going on? Should I be worried in case he 'wins'? Am I being overly suspicious?

Mailed him/her.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I never knew there were tools in place for a seller to cancel a bidder. Never had call to before!

Yup - you can change your username if needs be - folk with really bad feedback do this. The time on site will include all previous incarnations..... You used to be able to see a bidders' history (in terms of previous usernames) which was a handy tool for spotting dodgy geezers - maybe you still can?

'User ID History' reveals he's only ever used the one ID. Since 2003. With no transactions 😕

I never use eBay, but have an account. If it were me I'd happily be contacted to clarify why I have no history.

Rather like Pook I have had an account for donkeys years and used it 2 or 3 times so I would probably ring alarm bells. But again I would be happy for you to ask me why this was 🙂

I would not worry. I he is a dreamer and does not pay up you can offer it to the second highest bidder.

Second-highest bidder has not met the Reserve...

And he still hasn't got in touch.
