Is there any way I can stop my search results defaulting to best match if I don't refine the results? It drives me insane, I'd much rather they defaulted to ending soonest but I can't work out a way to change it properly. Only result I can find on ebays help pages dates from 2014 and doesn't seem to work now.

I don't think it's possible to change it and I agree, it's a pain to have to keep changing it back to where you want it (I mostly use 'newly listed' and never use 'best match' - how does it decide what's best match anyway?
