hi all,
I bought something on ebay ( was a bargain ) - before I pay I get an email saying - 'sorry its too cheap and i am pulling your bid'
Now it was an auction - i won etc.. if he does this will it impact me at all apart from it being a bit off...
whats the consensus?
paul
Won't affect your account.
Forget it, move on and start looking for another. You can't make him sell. Just leave negative feedback that he wouldn't sell.
I don't think it will effect you but you might be able to pursue ebay and make him sell.
thanks!
nothing will happen with your account, just leave the muver funkster negative feedback
contact ebay I dont think you can pull an auction for the reason they state but I very much doubt you can enforce it as legally binding
Suspect ebay may do something if you complain especially as you have an incriminating e-mail
Would also neg the seller (after contacting ebay for their advice), they (the seller) should have either put a reserve on it, or started it at the minimum price they wanted.
it's a legal contract you enter into once the auction ends. he can pull the auction before it ends but not after. Phone ebay, Neg feedback etc.
Set up a fake account and win the item again & again & again 😉

It's all very well quoting and spouting all that stuff but the upshot is he can't do anything about it. Forget it, move on find another. Life's too short.
