Bit of a rant.
Why do people bid on something to not pay.
10 days ago my listing ended for my motorbike. It took 3 days before I got a reply to when he would like to collect. To it now being excuse after excuse. I've already had eBay take the 30 quid fees off me so I'm sat here 30 quid out but still the motorbike sat in the shed.
I sold forks on ebay. Waster with only 8 feedback bids and wins but does not pay. Message him to get no reply. WASTER
I sold cranks on ebay. Guy from abroad wins. Guess what. Another non payer.
Ebay is full of absolute nob head's. Why bid if you have no intention to pay. I can't even leave them bad feedback as a seller as they took that option away years ago.
You can put a non payer strike against them. You can also adjust your settings to prevent serial non payers bidding. Still can be a pain though. ebay will refund the fees if it doesn't go through or you can offer it to the 2nd highest bidder.
Think I'll be adjusting my settings to stop getting bids from non payers and people with low feedback, I wonder if I could do the same for non UK bidders too.
I've got a phone to sell as I've upgraded but am quite put off listing on ebay now. I remember the times where people would win and pay for stuff within a day, I remember when people would send a message to say 'hi is it OK if I make payment Friday as that when I can get to the bank'
