Passing through Hebden Bridge today and was wondering where to eat at lunchtime . With woman in charge so pie and chips probably not the thing!

Mooch and Organic House are both good cafes, that latter only just reopened after the flooding.

The Olive Branch is really good and do a two course lunch menu for a good price. It's by the lights in centre of town.
It's the Trousemen's special treat when we have got bored of the menu in Oldgate.

Some good snacky stuff on menu in Park Life Cafe in the park too.

Fish and chips from Crown Street are epic. Thanks to beef dripping frying.

Hth.

We always go to Mooch. It can get very busy though.

We were very impressed with the food at the Old Gate recently. Highly recommended.
