OK then folks, you've never let me down yet on places to eat in the UK when I've asked before. So I'll go for this long shot.
It looks like there's loads of French style (& expensive) places but honestly I'd rather have well done local dishes and something a bit less ott.
We've had a recommendation to try la Petite Ferme for a lunch stop, but for evening meals who's got any ideas?
