i've recently got into boiled eggs for breakfast. i like my boiled eggs with a runny, boarding on waxy yolk. i've got really good at judging whether an egg is a 3, 4, 5 or 6 minute egg just by looking at it.
but, should i keep it to one egg or can i spoil myself and eat two?
oh, eggs from the local farmers market, so no bashing on about dodgy battery eggs.
cheers
My preference is 3-at-a-time complimented by 4 slices of toast.....
2 eggs, boiled for 2 mins, left in the water for 6 mins = shell-like perfection
2 eggs - boiled for 4mins 25 seconds ish leave in pan and run cold over them for 15 - 40 seconds depending on size. Whala.
1 egg? Hardly worth the effort. 🙂
I would say if eating soft-boiled with toast then 2 is acceptable. Hard boiled, 3 or 4 at a sitting with a pinch of coarse grain salt on them. Yummy.

2 at least, maybe 3 if I'm hungry.
