Steak salad and chips just polished off with a Robinsons "beer to go with steak" (actually does go rather well). Mix of Sam Adams, Black Sheep and a Westmalle Dubbel to come (and possibly my last bottle of Livigno 1816 Wiesen). Rush (Snakes and Arrows) and some old Joe Satriani to come (flying in a blue dream), then drunken multiplayer Modern Warfare on PS3 probably. Can't you tell wife's away this weekend???!!!

eating: nowt. had fish n chips earlier

drinking: home brewed Cabernet Sauvignon. nice and at £12.50 for 6 bottles worth, pretty good value. 30 bottle kits work out even cheaper.

for 'ron' (later ron) I have some Old Peculier, Ilkley Brewery "Sandino" Nicaraguan style IPA, Flying Dog Brewery "Doggie Style" American pale ale and a bottle of Innis & Gunn original - doubt if I'll get through all that but there's a load of homebrewed chocolate stout to start on too...

listening: mrs_d has "The Voice" on TV in the next room so I may soon be hitting the "genius" button on iTunes...

Well, the two pints of Gem went down very well indeed, and the pub was very busy, Lab puppies charging all over the place, the stunning young lady who used to work there was back from That London for the weekend, so a very good evening was had. Now listening to 'Til Tuesday on the iPhone/iPod shuffle mode.
