Quick one - does anyone know, if we book easyJet flights through an agent rather than direct, how much and how easy it is to add on one booked suitcase?

Sounds like trouble. Are there any benefits for booking a budget airline via a third party?

Sorry it’s not helpful.

ATOL protection is the big one, if the flights and the hotel is booked as a package.

are you suggesting that you think that youre NOT protected by booking a package direct with easyjet?  or am i misreading it? (its early)

https://www.easyjet.com/en/policy/atol

yes youre protected if you go direct, which i would always do rather than involve a third party.

If you have your flight number, name etc you should be able to log into the easyJet app. From there you can add bags etc. and also check in and then show your boarding passes when you fly

Book through easyjet. Or if you have booking/flight numbers just log into site and add.

@sadexpunk It’s slightly complicated. easyJet do packages, but so do the hotel chains. You only get the ATOL protection if you book them as a package, if you book flights and hotel separately it appears not. I’d have thought booking easyJet flights through an ATOL-protected agent would be fine *but* it’s not obvious how you add on hold luggage…

You can probably do it at online check-in. They spam you enough with emails to add extras up until the point you fly. At some point you'll need this info anyway.

Maybe ask the people you are booking with to add it? Or if they are just using easyJet system to book you a flight you can log in with the booking reference they receive.
