We're all planning to go up to see Uncle George in the morning and so we were wondering what the roads maybe like. After the M6 and then A590 across the bottom of the South lakes, we usually use the A5092 from Greenodd and over the hills. Or are we better carrying on through Ulverston and up the coast road?
Is there much snow up that way? Ta.
Nowt up here near Barrow tewit. Bit wet and windy but no snow and forecast not showing anything. Tomorrow morning looks bright but breezy. Safe trip!

Keep an eye on tailbacks around ulverston if you go that way, my dad lives there and is always moaning about queues back to greenodd.
