You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've just acquired an old led tv, props say 5 years old, little thing and ideal for the summer house/pub as tvs have been banned up there by Mrs ws, I suggested we could have one for special occasions such as sporting events etc, so what with it being a freebie she couldn't moan.
So it's got 1 normal coax, 1 hdmi, 1 usb, 1 scart 1 pc port and the usual 3 colours of rbg plus 2 audio. It doesn't however have screen mirroring which would enable me to stream direct from sky go to it.
So what's the easiest and (must be) cheapest way of streaming from my phone to this little tv, or should I just chuck it in the bin?
Chromecast?
Pretty sure you can’t mirror from sky go anyway. (iPhone won’t let me do it to Apple TV.)
Get another sky box?
Cheap Now TV subscription - they'll supply a box you can plug into the HDMI and you can get a 30 day sports pack as and when you feel like it.
EDIT it seems they have a 'smart stick' like the amazon fire stick now.

We have a Roku box (about 30 quid) on our old TV. Not tried it myself but you can apparently use it to mirror a mobile screen. Alternatively if your mobile has a WiFi hotspot function you could use it like that.
Forgot to add no Ariel or such up there as it's basically a posh shed at the top of the garden. I suppose Could i run a big long cable from the router and buy a small smart tv?
Ethernet cable into a Now TV/Roku etc would work without you having to shell out for a smart telly.
