I seem to be allergic/sensitive to something in the latex/TPU/Silicone that makes up the soft bits of most ear plugs. So I've always just used over-ear headphones. Which are fine for public transport etc, but I don't like them in the gym.
Recently borrowed some old wired apple ear pods (look like the AirPod 2nd generation on the apple site, but with wires) and found they do actually fit and as they're just a solid piece of plastic didn't irritate me.
So, what's the best knock-off apple airpods?
AliExpress obviously has 'genuine apple' ones for $7. But I'd like them to actually work.
Apple ones are £139, but I will lose them. So budget is as close to the $7 ones as possible!
Sound quality - needs to drown out generic gym techno, doesn't need neodinium coils hand rolled on the thighs of virgins.
These seemed to get good reviews iirc, not a personal recommendation unfortunately

They look bang on, thanks 👍
I've had a pair of those Aldi ones, they're acceptable at best. I also have a pair of SoundPeats Air 3 which are in an entirely different league - they're as good as any I've heard (though I've not tried anything super expensive).
They seem to have gone up in price but the TrueAir 2s (which some reviewers preferred) are about 25 quid in ebay. I'd choose them over the Maginon any time.
Recommended in this parish and to this day one of the best products I have ever bought. Sounds excellent, charge, huge bass. Just work awfully well.
Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro-Total Wireless Earbuds- In-ear Studio Performance.
There are some Xmas stock in TK Maxx now. Plenty of cheapo earbuds like the one you are searching for but I am not sure how good they are. Price from £10 to £30.
I bought two pairs of JBL WAVE/VIBE 1000 TWS recently. Good bass.
