Mrs CS in training for a marathon and needs some ear phones that don't fall out all the time. Any recommendations from all you runners out there?

So she can actually hear other people and react to them rather than being a zombie

I like the apple ones that come with ipods/iphones. I only use one when running, so I can hear traffic etc.

No headphones for me i run faster and more controlled without.

Never tried aftershokz but headphones runners are a nightmare for everyone else on a path so yeah, get those.

I asked similar last month

http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/running-earphones-yurbuds

Bought a pair of yurbuds from Wiggle.
No problems with them falling out. Not the best sound quality tho but that isn't an issue when they are just for running

I use yurbuds in the gym and never had them fall out yet.

I find the Apple Earpods stay in perfectly well, allow me to hear background noises, and sound pretty good.
However, not everyone's ears are the same, so that can be a problem keeping them in place. Any 'phone that fits into the ear canal is more likely to block background sounds, so more risky. I wear proper canalphones which block pretty much all background sounds, but I have to be really aware of everything around; I'm only walking, if I was running, there's no way I'd wear them.

Have a look at the nose sports ones, they fit in the bit around the ear canal, so don't block out loads of noise. Gregor running but you can get a bit of wind noise for cycling.

These ones

And they sound great as well

I recently got back into running and do minimum of 2 runs a week at about 3 miles a go and intend to do the Great Birmingham 10k in May so I invested in some Bose ® SIE2i earphones. Gotta say I love em, never fall out and IMO sound great as well, not cheap mind but they work.

I will add to the recommendations for the bose ones, by far the best I have tried for sports by a big margin.

Thanks for the suggestions, it's time she spent some money and stopped complaining about the ones she already has!
