Any recommendations for converting DVDs to DivX files on a PC?
Google throws up many possibilities, but what are you lot actually using?

To make portable or ps3 friendly versions I use handbrake and vlc.
They go together. Make sure if your pc is 32 or 64 bit anddownloas the right version

Handbrake seems popular. Free and does the job.
