Crap title I know but what do folks recommend?
Needing a 13.5 or 15tog king sized duvet, want to get natural if possible.
Anyone purchased a down one at reasonable cost (£30 - £50) they could recommend?
John Lewis synthetic here, comes in two halves, 4.5 and 10.5 (or maybe 9.5), so you have three warmth options. We've never had to use both halves at once and just use the thin part for Summer and the thicker one for Winter.
Remember when a man could buy a duvet without having to ask the internet?

Baavet wool duvet.
Since someone else mentioned them on here I have since bought 3 of them and a couple of wool pillows too.
Feel a bit different than a down duvet but I like them.
Beaver wool duvet.
Feel a lot like a down duvet, I like them.
Especially cheap now as there is a glut of raw materials on the market
Baavet wool duvet.
I've got a couple of these too. Brilliant and well worth the money (there's a Bargain section on the website too for factory seconds).

£45 for 12 tog king size, mix of duck feathers and duck down. V comfortable.
We've just bought that idea one last week. Very cosy, individual stitched panelling so the feathers stay where they should. Full king noisy though!
John Lewis combination here too. We have used both bits together. It's snug.
I get all nostalgic for the "feather beds" they used to have in Germany which were basically a big sack of feathers you shook up in the morning. No quilting. They were snug.
While we're on the subject;
Why do Duvets have covers but pillows have cases?
french and english innit
On the back of this thread have just ordered a second winter wieght Baavet.
